沙特阿拉伯将对闲置土地征税

沙特阿拉伯正计划对指定用于开发的闲置土地征收2.5%的税。



在初期，将只对利雅得的大地块收税。之后，这一政策会扩大到国内其他地区以及小地块，以刺激沙特阿拉伯国内的房产供应。



去年5月，沙特阿拉伯表示，这一新税种将面向个人及非政府企业征收。



Saudi Arabia To Introduce Tax On Undeveloped Land



Saudi Arabia is planning to introduce a 2.5 percent tax on unused land in areas earmarked for development.



During an initial phase, only substantial plots of land in Riyadh will be subject to the levy. Later it will be expanded to other areas of the country and to smaller plots, to boost housing supply in the country.



In May last year, the country said that the tax would be levied on individuals and non-government entities.
